Was the NATO Incursion into the Balkans, a Dress Rehearsal for a New Israeli-Palestinian Conflict?

This article has very strong political statements that are necessary to convey the significance of certain recent events and their prophetic implications. These statements are not politically correct. Some may even find them offensive. Other readers may object to what they deem mixing politics with religion in the Researcher. But, how can we ever discuss the fate of Israel without the two? Religion and politics were forever bound together when Ha Shem created a nation at Mount Sinai and gave them their Constitution in the form of the Torah. Pick any book of the Tanach, the so-called Old Testament, and you will find the prophets making very political statements. Throughout the course of this article I have sought to be tactful without sacrificing the truth. Whether I have succeeded will depend upon the reader’s particular point of view.

Last December, the President of the United States was impeached. Yet, due to the overwhelming and unprecedented political prejudice of certain elected officials, he was not removed from office. These officials stated that the President should remain in office for “the good of the country” as though the United States couldn’t function without this particular outlaw at the helm. In my opinion, the failure of the Senate to carry out justice in the face of the overwhelming evidence presented is tantamount to idolatry and therefore I have chosen to treat it as such. Many of you are familiar the Torah teaching that it is forbidden for a Jew to write or utter the name of a false god or an idol. If it is necessary to mention the same, it is permissible to change a letter, syllable or a sound of the name. Gentiles of course are under no such restriction, but for personal reasons (my mother washed my mouth out with soap if I used a vulgarity) I have chosen to adhere to this requirement. Throughout the course of our article I have spelled the name of this felon as Klinton.

This is the third in a series of articles that continues to examine the significance of the 24th day of the 9th Month. This timeframe from the Jubilee Calendar is so full of import that the Prophet Haggai was compelled to mention it four times. Last year this pivotal date coincided with December 14, 1998, on the Gregorian Calendar.

During this installment we will expound on significant events spoken of by Haggai that are, for the first time in history, coming to pass. In addition we will reveal how the 25th day of Kislev, on the Jewish Lunar Calendar, also synchronizes with Haggai’s crucial date. We will also expose a number of striking parallels that the above dates share with the Feast of Lights or Hanukkah. Finally, we will demonstrate the timely linkage of past historical past events with the troubles in the Balkans and ultimately how it will impact the State of Israel and the Jewish people.

In the October ‘98 Researcher we showed how certain end-time events would culminate in the recovery of the Mishkan and the eventual establishment of the Third House (Temple). Haggai did not specify the year because such prophecies were often “sealed up” until the end of days. This does not mean, however, that the year will remain unknown or that those who witness these events will not recognize their significance.

In the December ‘98 Researcher (published and mailed just before Mr. Klinton’s impeachment) we again reminded our readers of this date and alerted them to its significance. Something was about to happen!

Indeed, on December 14, 1998, after the December issue was mailed, something happened that literally shook the Heavens and the Earth. It would initiate the countdown for the restoration of the Third Temple. That is why Haggai’s date is so important. If we are to determine the correct time frame we must know which calendar Haggai used.

Will the Real Calendar Please Stand

The Gregorian Calendar is employed almost worldwide today.

The Jewish Lunar Calendar is based on lunar cycles (Torah observant Jews use the Lunar Calendar in order to comply with certain halachic requirements).

The ancient Jubilee Calendar is based on the solar cycle. This particular calendar was wrongly discarded over 2000 years ago. Israel utilized it during its first commonwealth and it was the same one that Haggai used. It is the same calendar that the Creator gave to Israel at the time of the Exodus.

Some basic astronomy will allow us to understand why these calendars differ from one another. There are 365.2422 days in a solar year (a solar year is the time it takes the earth to orbit the sun). Naturally, there is no way to divide this period of time equally for the purpose of creating “months.” If there were exactly 360 days in a solar year, then the solar year could be divided into 12 equal months of 30 days each. If this were the case, every civilization that has ever existed would probably have devised the same simple calendar. The variations in every calendar reflect how different cultures dealt with the additional days and hour.

The months of the Gregorian Calendar vary in length from 28 days to 31 days. The result is slightly less than 365.2422 days. An adjustment is therefore necessary once every four years. This is accomplished with a leap year. During this leap year, a day is added to the number of days in February.

In contrast, the months of the Jewish Lunar Calendar alternate between 29 and 30 days in length. However, the beginning of any given month depends upon the phases of the moon. The length of the lunar month is just over 29 ½ days. Like the Gregorian, the end result is slightly less than 365.2422 days. An adjustment is required but the Jewish Lunar Calendar does not add days to individual months. Instead, days are allowed to accumulate over a period of time to create an entire month. This is done seven times every nineteen years.

The Jubilee Calendar is computed differently. While the months of this solar timetable vary between 29 and 31 days, the beginning of each month is dependent upon the timing of its celestial equivalent (in the Zodiac) and its position in relation to the gate of the sun. Because they are not calculated in the same manner and were instituted during vastly different eras, none of these calendars are in sync with one another. That is why the date on any given calendar will float with respect to its counterpart on another. This is especially true when attempting to compare the Gregorian Calendar with the Jubilee Calendar.

When Haggai’s 24th day of the 9th month is synchronized with the 1998 Gregorian Calendar it coincides with December 14th, 1998. According to the prophet, something would occur on this day that would mark the beginning of a series of events culminating in the restoration of all things and lay the foundation for the Third Temple. What were some of these events?

“I will shake the Heavens and the Earth…” (Haggai 2:6) “I will cause a violent noise of war among all Nations…” (Haggai 2:7) “I will overthrow the throne of Kingdoms…” (Haggai 2:22)

Haggai’s date was so important that it was repeated four times in the second and last chapters of the Book of Haggai. Repetition like this is most unusual. It means we should expect something momentous and watch for it!

I Will Overthrow the Throne of Kingdoms!

What an interesting statement! Did something occur on December 14th, 1998, that would cause G-d to overthrow certain thrones or oust certain leaders from power; and if so, what does it signify? It was on this date that President Klinton spoke with Yishar Arafat and the PLO in Gaza. He publicly announced that the United States would give full support for the establishment of a Palestinian State in the “West Bank” and Gaza. Klinton also said that Jerusalem would be its capitol.

It is doubtful that Mr. Klinton understood that his pledge would mean an alliance that would abrogate the covenant that HaShem had made with Abraham. Genesis 28:13 makes it very clear that it was a covenant wherein the Land was given to Jacob/Israel as an inheritance. The President was surely unaware of the significance of his words in the grand scheme of G-d’s plan for Israel.

Klinton’s pledge to Arafat…this “brilliant” proposal was announced to the world on the 24th day of the 9th month on the Jubilee Calendar. That day marked the beginning of a series of events wherein G-d would “overthrow the Throne of Kingdoms.” That same week Congress impeached President Klinton. Two weeks later King Hussein of Jordan died. Another two weeks passed and the King of Bahrain, Sheik 'Isa Ibn Sulman Al Khalifah died.

Thrones continue to topple. On May 16, 1999, Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu of Israel was defeated in early elections. A little over a month later, on July 23, Moroccans mourned the death of King Hassan the 2nd. The fallen ruler enjoyed one of the longest reigns in the Arab world. King Hassan II was a trusted friend of Israel and the Jewish People. And who can deny that the death of young John Kennedy Jr, exactly a week before, was another loss to a family that many regarded as American royalty? The “Throne” of every relevant Kingdom has been shaken if not overthrown in a very short period of time. And there are more to come.

“And now, I pray you, consider from this day (the 24th day of the 9th Month) onward (i.e. sometime in the future) before one stone shall be laid upon another for the [building of the Third] Temple of the Lord… from this day onward from the 24th day of the 9th month, from the day that the foundation of the [Third] Temple of the Lord was laid, consider it… I will shake the Heavens and the Earth and I will overthrow the Throne of Kingdoms… I will destroy the strength of the world’s Kingdoms” - Haggai 2:15, 2:18, 2:21-22).

Note the unusual wording of this prophecy. It is obvious that the foundation of each Temple consisted of stones that were laid one upon the other. But how could the foundation be laid “before” any stones were put in place? That would be impossible.

The answer is really quite simple. First of all, the grammatical structure of the Hebrew of the above verse indicates future tense. Also, Haggai was not referring to any physical foundation. It was a symbolic foundation… a series of events that would eventually usher in the establishment of the Third House. Haggai then proceeds to describe those events.

The effect of Klinton’s December 14th proclamation is still reverberating around the world. One by one, the nations have given their “blessing” to the idea. A chorus of voices from the many “thrones” of the various “kingdoms” has said: “go ahead… take a spoil from Israel… abrogate the covenant… take back the Land that G-d gave to His people and give it to their enemies who seek to cut them off.”

In response, G-d reminds us of His covenant with Israel, “I will be their G-d and they will be My people” (Ezekial 37:26-28) …and that He “…will overthrow the Throne of Kingdoms” to make this happen, and that He “…will destroy the strength of the world’s Kingdoms” to prove it. A foundation will be laid for a Third Temple and it will be raised as promised.

Madrid, Oslo and Wye Are Irrelevant.

It is unfortunate that former Prime Minister Netanyahu signed the Wye Agreement. Not so much for the document’s content or effect as for the fact that he signed it on Shabbat. It is forbidden for a Jew to write anything on Shabbat. When a man writes he actually “creates” something. HaShem refrained from creating and rested on the 7th day. That is why the Torah forbids the Jewish people from creating anything on Shabbat. A number of very prominent Rabbis in Jerusalem insist that this is the real reason that G-d removed Mr. Netanyahu from office.

Once every four years (or slightly less) Israel is a real Democracy¾but only on the day of the elections¾only on the day they elect their Prime Minister! No one, it seems, was happy with the elections of May 16th, 1999. The Right was unhappy because Bibi was not re-elected. The Left was unhappy because the “Religious” parties and the “Right-of-Center” parties won a majority of the seats in the Knesset, Israel’s parliament.

The Left referred to Ehud Barak’s victory as a landslide but the truth is that the Jewish voters gave Barak a margin of only 2% over Netanyahu¾a slim margin by any standard. The Arab vote swung the election heavily in Barak’s favor, giving him a margin of 14% overall. Their ballot was cast due to their belief that he would support the creation of a Palestinian State. However, no one knows for sure what Barak is going to do.

A recent Washington Post story, by Charles Babington, detailed Barak’s recent visit to the United States during the week of July 19. The new PM promised to carry out the Wye accords but would try to persuade Arafat to allow a delay in further withdrawal of Israeli troops from the so-called West Bank. The Post story revealed that when Netanyahu refused to pull remaining troops from the territories, the U.S. punished Israel by withholding a massive aid package that was part of the Wye agreement. The people of Israel are, on one hand, being threatened with terrorism if they don’t give up their land while on the other, they face extortion from our own government if they fail to comply.

It should be noted that Barak’s political mentor, Yitzhak Rabin, had stated on the lawn of the White House in 1996, that while “…we are talking about ‘total autonomy for the Palestinians’ …we are not negotiating for a ‘Palestinian State.’ We will never give up one square centimeter of the Land of Israel that was liberated in the 1967, Six-Day War.”

This present administration spent a great deal of time and U.S. taxpayer dollars to get Barak elected. They had hoped to placate the Arab Nations and to create a Palestinian State. Now, it appears that the horse they backed is just as determined to prevent it as Netanyahu. The real question facing Mr. Klinton is: “What additional leverage can be used to force Barak to comply with our edicts and how far will we need to go?”

A Violent Noise of War among All Nations!

Now, let’s take a look at some current events that are literally “shaking” the foundations of the world¾events that may reveal an alternative plan to force Israel to create a Palestinian State with or without Barak’s consent. Just three months and ten days after Klinton’s pledge in Gaza, the US and NATO bypassed the UN and began bombing Yugoslavia. The entire world heard “the noise of war!”

The French, Chinese, Russian and Warsaw Pact Nations were enraged by Klinton’s move and reacted violently against the illegal bombing of Yugoslavia. For some reason, the Media has not revealed the ensuing anti-American sentiments. Somehow, the press managed to ignore the full story. Meanwhile, it was reported that Chinese espionage agents stole top-secret missile guidance systems from the United States. But were those secrets stolen? According to the June 7 issue of U.S. New & World Report, “…before the spying allegations, there was evidence of Chinese efforts to funnel money into the Clinton-Gore re-election campaign.”

Now, the long dormant threat of nuclear war has once again surfaced¾Haggai’s words echo their theme that much more vividly… “I will cause a violent noise of war among all Nations…” (Haggai 2:7). Of course, all of this could be just a coincidence. How can we be sure that the words of Haggai refer to these events in 1998? How can we justify a claim that December 14th, 1998, is the very day and year that the Prophet Haggai foresaw over twenty three centuries ago? Is there perhaps another parallel?

Blessed are the Pure of Heart for they Shall See [the hand of] G-d

As previously mentioned the 24th Day of the 9th Month of the Jubilee Calendar in Haggai’s prophecy matches the 25th Day of the 12th Month on the present Jewish Lunar Calendar. In 1998, these dates fell on December 14th …the very day that Klinton pledged to Arafat that he would give full support for the establishment of a Palestinian State.

This year, interestingly enough, all of these dates also coincide with Hanukkah! What is Hanukkah? It is the commemoration of the miracle of the Menorah Lights at the time the Second Temple was dedicated. It was the beginning of and the foundation for the restoration of Temple Worship in Jerusalem after the return from Babylon. Sound familiar?

In the Tanach we read: “Surely HaShem will do nothing unless he reveals it first to His servants, the Prophets” (Amos 3:7). Are there certain, unfulfilled historic cliffhangers in Haggai’s tiny little book that have never happened in the history of the world?

In the past few months have we not observed those things that he described happening almost day by day before our very eyes? Or is it just a figment of an overactive imagination?

A Foundation for the Third Temple

When Haggai was given the prophecy about “laying the foundation”, the Second Temple had already been built. Obviously, its foundation was already in place. The prophecy could only be referring to a third and final Temple. The Book of Ezra (3:6, 8, 10-11) confirms this. According to this record, the foundation of the Second Temple was laid in the second month of the second year of Cyrus, which was well before the 24th Day of the 9th Month of the same year. And from Ezra 6:15, we know that the Second Temple was finished on the third day of the twelfth month (now called Adar) during the rule of Darius, the son of Esther. Haggai was keenly aware that there was a “Former House” and a “Present House,” and that there would also be a “Latter House.”

Haggai spoke of the future when he wrote, “And I will shake all the Nations. And the desire of all Nations will come. And I will fill this House with Glory, says HaShem of Forces… The Glory of this Latter House shall be greater than the Glory of the Former” (Haggai 2:7,9).

Not a single word of this prophecy was ever fulfilled during the Second Temple period. After the Second Temple was finished and all the Latter Prophets had died, the Second Temple continued. Instead of the proper administration of the worship of G-d, it served a more political purpose for those who controlled Israel. The Sages of that day never referred to it as the “House of G-d!” because it lacked the crucial items required for halachically acceptable sacrifice and worship. These items or “treasures” were missing since the destruction of the First House.

The Treasures Remained Hidden

The Prophets Haggai and Zechariah were among those that hid the Treasures of the First House. These holy articles were those fashioned at Mount Sinai under the leadership of Moses and Aaron. Before the destruction of Solomon’s Temple (The First House), they were secreted away so that they would not be “plundered” by the Babylonians. These same Prophets wrote “the four records”: the Copper Scroll, the Silver Scroll, the Marble Tablets and the Temple Scroll. The latter tells how to re-institute Temple worship once the Treasures of the Copper Scroll are recovered.

These same Prophets knew where these treasures were hidden. They were present when the Second Temple was dedicated yet they allowed the precious vessels to remain hidden. Why?

They were not destined for the Second Temple! The Temple Scroll, found at Qumran, and the Jubilee Scroll distinctly state that these “Treasures will be recovered” but only “after the Children of Israel are re-gathered from the Nations” in the End of Days.

II Maccabees 2:1-6 recounts how certain men tried to “follow” Jeremiah and his companions when they hid the Tabernacle and the Ark of G-d, but they could not find the way. When Jeremiah perceived it, he cursed them and said: “This place will be unknown until HaShem re-gathers His people together and receives them unto mercy.”

Even before they were taken captive to Babylon, these Prophets knew that the Second Temple would be as nothing compared to the First Temple! Even before they were taken to Babylon, these Prophets knew they would not recover them in their lifetimes. That’s why the Copper Scroll, for example, was written on Copper …because it would need to survive the ravages of time. It would have to remain “readable” for those who would recover it 2500 years in the future!

Haggai and Zechariah were distraught when they saw the Second Temple. They cried out asking: “Who is left among you that saw the First House in her Glory? How do you see it now? Is it not in your eyes in comparison as nothing?” (Haggai 2:3).

They were also distressed by the attitude of the people toward HaShem and His House. “Thus says HaShem of Forces saying: ‘These people say: The time has not yet come, that HaShem’s House should be built.’” (Haggai 1:2). Sounds like the attitude of many people in our day, does it not?

Frustrated with the prevailing attitude of the people, these two Prophets began to foretell things concerning the Last Days and the Third House. Haggai gave the Priest two questions concerning what defiles a man from the outside and what defiles him from the inside. In each case, the Priest responded that either condition would make one unclean. Haggai answered by the Word of HaShem and said: “So is this People and so is this Nation before me says HaShem. And so is every work of their hands (e.g. the Second Temple); and that which they offer there is unclean” (Haggai 2:14). This rebuke against the Second Temple was never suspended.

HaTirshatha (Nehemiah the Prophet) said the priests would “…not eat of the most Holy Things until there stand up a priest [among them] with the Urim and Tummim” (Ezra 2:63). The Urim and Tummim were actually the lights and reflections on the Breastplate of the High Priest. It is how the High Priest communicated with HaShem. The 12-Jewelled Breastplate was also hidden with the other sacred vessels from the First Temple.

From the above statement, by Ezra, we know that the Urim and Tummim will be used in the Third Temple. We also know that this Temple will include Israel’s Ancient Tabernacle. According to the Prophet Ezekial, the Tabernacle will stand in the midst of a superstructure that will extend out over the Kidron Valley. HaShem said through Ezekial… “My Sanctuary [will be] in the midst of them forevermore… My Tabernacle also… ” (Ezekial 37: 26-27).

There was never a prophet, priest or king anointed during the Second Temple Period. Why? Because there was no Shemen Mishkh with which to anoint them as required by halacha. The last of this Holy Anointing Oil was hidden before the destruction of the First Temple. Again, its location never revealed by Haggai and Zechariah.

The Second Temple period was an impersonation¾an impostor of the First Temple Period. By 175 BCE, the Syrian Greeks had taken over the land of Israel and converted the Second Temple into a sanctuary for the god Jupiter. After long years of cruel subjugation, a Hashmonean family of guerrilla fighters began to battle the Greeks. They were led by Judas the Maccabee which means, “hammer”. It also is an acronym for their battle cry in Hebrew, “Who is like Thee among the powers, O Lord!” In 165 BCE, the army of Judas Maccabee re-took the Temple. The dedication ceremony was marked by the miracle of Hanukkah.

An Echo from the Past: The First Hanukkah!

There are no references to a “celebration” of the Feast of Hanukkah anywhere in the Jewish Scriptures. This is one of the reasons why many Christian Theologians and Reform Jews insist that Orthodox Rabbis invented Hanukkah in the Middle Ages. We read however, in the Gospels, in John10: 22, that the Nazarene observed this Feast of Dedication (Hanukkah is Hebrew for dedication). This text reveals that it occurred in “the winter”.

Interestingly, this is one of many references in the so-called New Testament that validates Traditional and Orthodox Judaism against the Higher Critics and Reform opponents. These critics are unaware, or perhaps unwilling to examine such records as those found in the Apocrypha, specifically the book of II Maccabees. Here we find the entire story of the first Hanukkah.

According to II Maccabees, the Jewish people had just finished driving the Greeks from the “akra” or edge of the plateau above the Temple Mount. The Temple area was now secure and they could celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles that had been delayed because of the Greek occupation. There was only one problem… there was no halachically acceptable Oil to fill the Lamps (Menorah) in the Temple. On the very day the Jews overcame the Greeks, however, they discovered a small jug of Holy Oil from the time of the First Temple. It was only a small amount of oil, sufficient for just one day (but the Feast of Tabernacles lasts 8 days). What would they do? There was no time to prepare more!

Miraculously, the oil burned for eight full days. The celebration of this Feast of Sukkoth would normally have begun on the 15th day of the 7th month, but instead, it began on the 25th day of Kislev. This event was the origin of new festival celebrated annually by the Jewish people as the Apocryphal Feast of Lights or Hanukkah.

Since it commemorates the dedication of a House of Prayer for All Nations the gentiles should celebrate it as well. Seventy bulls were offered for the seventy gentile nations during Sukkoth. In a sense the gentiles do celebrate this holiday. The Feast usually proceeds Christmas by one or two weeks and some have suggested that this is perhaps HaShem’s way to get Christians to unconsciously honor, with all the lights of Noel, the dedication of the Temple. And perhaps, also, in this way, a remnant of lost souls may recognize an echo from the past…

What’s Past is Prologue

Hanukkah marked the victory of the Jewish people over a Gentile power. Amazingly, history would repeat itself once again. In 1917, General Allenby marched into Jerusalem without firing a shot, freeing the Holy City from another Gentile power, the Ottoman Turks. The event occurred on the First Night of Hanukkah! In addition, the Turk forces were undermanned due to losing so many troops to wars, in the Balkans.

In 1998, Hanukkah fell on December 14th. On the Jubilee Calendar this was the 24th day of the 9th month. When the prophet Haggai spoke these words more than twenty-four centuries ago, over two thousand four hundred “24th day of the 9th month’s” have passed without incident. The date passed void of any event that would directly affect Israel, the Jewish people, or any of G-d’s Covenants. This seemingly obscure Prophecy of Haggai has remained an enigma¾until last year! It is extremely rare for all three calendars to synchronize in such a way but in 1998, all three dates fell on the exact same day:

December 14th on the Gregorian Calendar

25th day of Kislev or Hanukkah on the Jewish Lunar Calendar

24th day of the 9th month on the solar Jubilee Calendar

On that very day the “Throne” of the greatest and most powerful of all Gentile Kingdoms declared that the Covenant with Abraham would be set aside… the Land would be taken from the Jewish People and given to their enemies… Jerusalem would be their capitol… and the Temple Mount would remain the exclusive property of the Palestinians! This eerily echoes the Greeks who had said: “There will be no Temple and there will be no dedication!” But the strength of this Gentile Nation was overthrown. Indeed, the events of that first Hanukkah foreshadowed the1998 Hanukkah. The “Throne” of a Kingdom was overthrown¾the President was impeached! Shortly thereafter, Klinton began bombing Yugoslavia. He formed a coalition and the nations heard the ominous noise of war!

One by one, various Heads of State were removed from office… some died in office; some were removed by the will of the people. Oddly enough, for the first time in US history the Senate refused to remove a convicted President from office. He remained there to fulfill his destiny… to wreak havoc… to lay a foundation for certain things to come. This was not an accident! In the words of Daniel the Prophet “…[the dominion was] taken away. But [it was] prolonged for a season and a time” (more on this aspect later).

The Countdown: A Summary of those Events

The year1998 saw a series of dramatic incidents. In the fall, Klinton and his wife Hillary visit the leaders of the EC or European Community—the same countries and the same leaders that Arafat will meet with in the next few months.

In November/December, two weeks before the Gaza meeting, Yishar Arafat announces that: “A Palestinian State means not only Nablus, Ramallah, Jericho, East Jerusalem and Gaza. It also includes West Jerusalem, Ashkelon, Tel-Aviv, Netanyah and Haifa!” The additional cities he includes are nearly one hundred percent Jewish and always have been. This action would literally bring about the destruction of the Jewish State!

Now, note the following significant events that occurred:

On December 14, US President Klinton meets with Arafat in Gaza and announces that: “…the US will give full support to the creation of a Palestinian State in the West Bank and Gaza, with Jerusalem as its Capitol!” …In other words, the Land will be taken from Israel and placed under the control of the Gentile Kingdoms. Just a few hours before his announcement in Gaza, Klinton had met with the President of Israel to “celebrate” the Feast of Lights. During that meeting he lit the candle to commemorate the first day of Hanukkah and the dedication of the Second Temple.

In the days following, Klinton returns to the United States and lies to the American People. He tells them that the Administration is “neutral” on the question of Palestinian Statehood.

Congress impeaches President Klinton.

Almost at the same time, Arafat launches an international tour with the same leaders of the European Community that Klinton met with just a few months before. The purpose of that tour is to follow-up the groundwork laid by Klinton and to promote: The Right of Self-Determination as stated in the Palestinian Covenant.

It should be noted that the Madrid, Oslo and Wye accords have provisions whereby all language in the “Palestinian Covenant” calling for the destruction of Israel would be officially removed. This has never happened! Ironically, on December 14, 1998, PLO President Yishar Arafat held up a flimsy, thin sealed envelope, and said: “This envelope contains a list of items to be abated from the “Palestinian Covenant as marked by Hillary Klinton.” The PLO delegates that attended the Gaza meeting unanimously accepted his statement. To this day, no one knows what that sealed envelope actually contains…if anything.

Mrs. Klinton’s marked deletions are irrelevant. It is the Madrid, Oslo and Wye accords that contain the list of necessary deletions. The truth is that Arafat has not fulfilled one Jot or Tittle of those agreements. Yet mysteriously enough, a blind world blames Bibi Netanyahu for blocking the “Peace Process”! (History seems to repeat itself over and over—the Romans crucified the Nazarene and then had the audacity to accuse the Jews of Deicide).

February 1999, Yishar Arafat announces to the Palestinian people that Klinton wants him to postpone the May 4th deadline to establish a Palestinian State. His reason? Mr. Klinton wants additional time “…to create a more positive attitude and support by the American people for the creation of [that] State.” Now what on earth would possess Yishar Arafat to delay the creation of a Palestinian State and what exactly did Klinton mean when he said he wanted to “create a more positive attitude” in America?

Impeached President Klinton coerces the NATO nations (that he, Hillary and Arafat had recently visited) into a full-scale war against Yugoslavia. It seems Yugoslavia has been oppressing Moslem refugees. Never mind that Kosovo has always been part of Yugoslavia. Never mind that the Moslems have been gradually entering Kosovo and attempting to drive out the native Serbian people.

Two Wrongs Do Not Make a Right

It should be noted here that we in no way condone the brutal methods used by Slobodan Milosevic to deal with the Albanian Moslems that streamed into his country. However, he was handling a very real problem. Milosevic and the duly established government of Yugoslavia were putting down the beginnings of a revolution. They were deporting those who had no right to legally be in the country. Yes, Milosevic's methods were savagely wrong. In our concern for the deadly treatment of the Moslems we have failed to see that the Moslems were also wrong.

The average American believes that we were helping an Albanian Moslem refugee (read: rebel) to return to his homeland (read: land that he is attempting to occupy). We believe that the Serbs have unjustifiably taken (read: trying to hold onto) from a tyrant (read: the duly constituted Yugoslavian State of Kosovo).

The people of the United States have been sold bill of goods. We have been led down the path, convinced that we can’t stand idly by and allow a group of suffering Moslem refugees lose their homeland. True, the Moslems have suffered greatly at the hands of Milosevic but it is not their homeland. When NATO forces took action, I was frequently asked by many of the Researcher’s readers, “Vendyl, whose right and whose wrong in this conflict?” My response was immediate; “They are both wrong!”

Is the present administration really concerned about the suffering of others? Are they really protecting the helpless victims of “ethnic cleansing”? The answer to both of these questions came in a July 28th broadcast of ABC News’ 20/20. The segment recounted the massacre of hundreds of thousands in Rwanda. During a three-month period in 1994, 500,000 lost their lives. Bodies were literally clogging the rivers of this African nation. Our government did not launch an all-out offensive to end this bloodshed? Politically, there was nothing to gain. And this point was dramatically driven home when the ABC News report hinted that administration spin-doctors felt they couldn’t create sympathy from the white voters here at home for the victims of African descent.

The smoke had barely cleared in the Balkans when Slick Willie deplaned from Air Force One, greeted by cheering Albanians as a hero and savior. The incursion into Kosovo, by NATO and Klinton was good Public Relations. Has he been able to win the support of the American people for this campaign? We believe that Klinton will use Kosovo to foster, here at home, a sympathetic attitude for the creation of a “homeland” for Palestinians. The truth will be discarded in favor of political expediency.

By now, the parallel and its implications for the nation of Israel should be obvious. Just as John Hyrcanus in Jerusalem asked the Romans for assistance with his internal problems, so too the present government of Israel asked the UN and its member nations for help with its current problems. In return the Gentile Nations are demanding servitude. History has once again repeated itself.

Yitzhak Rabin stood on the White House lawn and said: “After the 1967 Six Day War, I promised the people of Israel that we would never let the politicians give away the Liberated Territories that we [re-]gained in this War. We will not betray the sacrifice of our sons, husbands and fathers who sacrificed their lives. We will never surrender one centimeter of the historical Land of Israel for political appeasement. I said that then, and I repeat it today… what we are discussing is total autonomy for the Palestinians. We are not discussing Palestinian Statehood.”

When Prime Minister Rabin made that statement, Klinton, Arafat and Shimon Peres looked as if they were about to give breech birth to porcupines. Rabin stood by his guns on the issue of: “Total autonomy for the Palestinians” but he also stood by his condition: “no Palestinian Statehood!” His insistence may have cost Mr. Rabin his life. When he was assassinated, he was replaced by Shimon Peres, a man who was not only willing but also eager to create a Palestinian State

The bombing of Yugoslavia is the first foul weather front of a gathering storm. The “great rushing noise” of these gale winds… the thunder and lighting in Europe… are a portent of things to come and the “Storm” is moving Eastward.

These are the very descriptions used by Haggai the Prophet… “And I will ‘shake’ all Nations” (Haggai 2:7). The Hebrew for “I will shake” is V-tier ’ahd-ti. The word Haggai used however is not V-tier’ahd-ti. The word he uses is actually “V-Ha-Rah’ash-ti.” Rah’ash means a “great rushing noise,” as in “…the noise of war.”

Wag the Dog

Klinton probably never learned or didn’t care that Yugoslavia fought with our Allies in both World Wars. Under the Nazi occupation, Yugoslavia still managed to put together an armed force. Thirty-two Jewish commandos parachuted into Yugoslavia to organize Jewish resistance. Among them was Hannah Senesh, a war heroine who was eventually captured and executed.

The Moslem Albanians however, joined Hitler’s SS Troops. Yugoslavia eventually succumbed to communism. Unlike the other Balkan states, it remained an independent country that was never part of the USSR.

The media no longer refers to these conflicts as “religious wars.” Instead, they employ “newspeak” and politically correct verbiage such as “ethnic cleansing.” The term is used to rouse political opposition and/or support depending on the desired outcome. In this case, the “terrorists” become “freedom fighters.” Albanian Moslem insurgents are now “refugees.” Thanks to Bill Klinton and his bombing of Yugoslavia, they are back in what is suddenly their true homeland, Albanian Kosovo. There’s one problem….Kosovo was never part of Albania. That’s OK… Wag the Dog hard enough and you can get people to believe just about anything.

As a point of clarification: Albania, the real “fatherland” to these so-called refugees, will not let their Moslem brothers return from Kosovo to Albania because their “colonization” efforts require a “refugee problem.” It is exactly like the “refugee problem” created by the UN in 1948.

On November 29, 1947, the UN Resolution 181 was passed giving Israel less than 10 per cent of what had been originally mandated. The Jews accepted but the Arabs did not. They wanted all of the land. Almost immediately Arabs began to flood into the country preparing for the destruction of the tiny new state. By the time the Jewish State of Israel was declared on May 14th, 1949, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq attacked it. The outgunned, outnumbered Israeli forces survived for 20 months finally defeating combined a fighting force of five Arab armies.

Those who fought against Israel who came from the Arab countries were not allowed to re-enter their respective homelands. Their own people made them “refugees”. Fifty years later, there are still “refugees” living in these UN camps!

The phenomenon of the perpetual refugee was the catalyst for Joan Peter’s bestseller From Time Immemorial (Harper & Row, 1984). Ms. Peters, a former White House Consultant and a free-lancer for CBS News, began working on a story to expose the “plight” of those in the UN refugee camps in Israel. The scales fell off of her eyes when she discovered that the UN had subtly altered the definition of a refugee. The alteration allowed that anyone arriving in Israel just two years before the 1948 War of Independence could be called a refugee. This “two-year presence” definition was a glaring contradiction to the claim by the Palestinians that Israel had been their homeland for thousands of years.

Inexplicably, magically, an Arab fighter arriving in 1947 from, for example Syria, by UN definition could claim Israel as his homeland. By the way, UNRWA, the UN organization that runs these camps receives less than one per cent of its budget from the entire Arab world. The Moslems in Albanian want their “refugees” brothers to exist so that they can be forced back into Yugoslavia for the purpose of creating a Moslem State inside traditionally Christian Yugoslavia.

Kosovo is the European model for what the UN and NATO plan for Israel. This European scenario has its exact counterparts in the Middle East: Israel verses the PLO. World governments depend heavily on Arab resources like oil. Therefore, anything that placates these Arab States automatically becomes part of the global agenda. Mr. Klinton’s concerns are not for the Moslems in Yugoslavia. He merely sees them as pawns in a game of international chess. For the most part, America has fallen for his war—hook, line and sinker…

Unexpectedly, two days after the bombing of Yugoslavia began; significant event #7 took place. Mu'ammar Qadhafi of Libya released the two terrorists that allegedly perpetrated the Pan-Am 103 bombing over Locherby, Scotland for trial in the Hague. Was this a coincidence? Or, was it part of a larger agreement… perhaps a show of good faith in return for something promised? And if so, was it timed to help Mr. Klinton “create a more positive attitude” towards the major players in this game.

On March 25th, 1999, significant event #8 occurs when the 15 nation European Union declared from Berlin, Germany that, “…Within one year, an independent Palestinian State will be established in the “West-Bank” and Gaza.” The declaration also specifically stated that: “Israel had no power to veto’ the ultimatum!”

Is it necessary to be reminded that the EC (European Council) and EU (European Union) comprise the same political body as the Nations who are members of NATO? The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is the militia of the EC and EU. There are plans that call for converting this militia into the Western European Army (WEU) within the next 12 months

The Bilderbergers, an organization that promotes one-world government and works in conjunction with the Council on Foreign Relations, announced that there will be a Palestinian State. (Significant event #9)

The Winds of War

The reason for Mr. Klinton’s visit to the EC countries shortly before his December 14, 1998, announcement should now be that much more obvious; and the reason for Arafat’s meeting with those same leaders immediately after the declaration in Gaza should be even more obvious. The Thrones of the Kingdom’s of this world, it seems, have decided that they have the authority to determine the future of Israel. Now what was that about a covenant with Abraham?

By May, the thunder, lighting and winds of war in Europe had reached Israel. No longer were they confined to the Balkans. Those voices that were not privy to the intent of the globalist factions, however, particularly those in Russia and the Nations of the Warsaw Pact, were vehemently opposed to the actions of the stigmatized US President and his accomplices in NATO. Likewise, many people in France, Greece, China and several other member countries also condemned the Klinton War against Yugoslavia.

Could this be the “kick off” to a WW III War-Game? If things continue along the lines of Haggai’s scenario, then the 4th Quarter of this game could find the United States playing out its part in Gog and Magog.

Israel: the Radial Axis of World History

In the early 1950s, I published a paper entitled “Israel, the Radial Axis of World History”, which presents a much different take on the words of the prophet Daniel. While all the other commentators associate and interpret Daniel chapter seven as a restatement of chapter two, I view the two chapters differently. I interpret chapter two as a vision of the Ancient World Empires, whereas the Beast Visions of chapter seven relate to the Modern World Empires.

The text in Daniel states plainly and repeatedly that the vision in chapters 7, 9-10 and 12 are for the “Time of the End.” Daniel’s vision in chapter eleven should follow chapter four. If you read the last verse of chapter ten and the first verse of chapter twelve, skipping over chapter eleven, you can see the connection.

Daniel 10:21 states: “But I will show you that which is noted in the Scripture of Truth… there is none that holds with me in these things but [the Angel] Michael your Prince.” Now skip to chapter twelve and read Daniel 12:1: “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great Prince that [shall] stand up for the [future] children of your people….” The content and substance of the text in Daniel 12:1 picks up exactly where the text of 10:21 stops. Many Jewish commentators believe that it was Ezra who collected the writings that we now call the Book of Daniel. It is possible that Ezra purposefully placed the order of the chapters out of sequence.

As we will illustrate, these two prophets and their visions are heavily related.

There are five references in Daniel 12 that reveal the visions are for the Last Days and the Time of the End. The “Four Beasts” in Daniel 7 and the amalgamated Beast of the Apocalypse in chapter thirteen of Revelation, parallel one another. They also represent the political alignment of the various world powers that precede Gog and Magog in chapters 37 and 38 of Ezekiel. According to these texts this amalgamated Beast will have the “Mouth of a Lion, the Body of a Leopard, the Feet of a Bear and the Tail of a Dragon.”

Every school child knows that nations are represented by symbols. Just as the United States has the Eagle, Britain displays the Lion. Russia is referred to as the great Bear and China exhibits the Dragon as its national emblem. Students of prophecy are aware that these Beasts symbolized four ancient world empires…but they also represent four modern world empires.

In a series of lectures given in1982, I stated that the Dragon (China) would become allied with Europe to destroy the Eagle (USA). That has not yet happened but with recent revelations linking Mr. Klinton to the theft of our nuclear secrets by the Chinese that particular event may yet take place.

We find that the meaning of the vision of the Eagle was not given to Daniel. However, details as to what would happen to this Eagle were revealed in the Book of II Esdras. This prophetic text written by the prophet Ezra (Esdras is the Greek corruption of Ezra). His writings, like Daniel, also employ “Apocalyptic” Beast Symbols to describe the great world empires of the Last Days.

Wings Plucked from the Back of the Lion!

Returning to Daniel, his description is uncanny—the vision of the Lion that had Eagle’s wings sounds amazingly familiar “…but the Eagle’s wings plucked themselves from the back of the Lion and made the Lion to stand on its feet as a man” (Daniel 7:4).

Indeed, the Eagle (USA) plucked itself from the back of the Lion (England) in 1776. King George’s treatment of the common man was inhuman. The American Revolution grew out of this treatment. After the revolution, the disposition of the Lion toward its people was transformed into a more humane society… As Daniel says: “And a man’s heart was given unto it.”

Both Daniel and Esdras describe precisely the Eagle’s history and nature, revealing how the United States is different from the other four beasts of Daniel chapter seven and the Amalgamated Beast of Revelation chapter thirteen. This is to be expected since they were on different continents separated by not only a vast ocean but by ideologies. The Four Beasts represent European Gentile Kingdoms. While in contrast, the Eagle is aloft and separated geographically and idealistically from the Beast of the European Continent.

Esdras describes the Eagle as a government controlled by its body…that is, the people themselves. Americans understand that their government is unique. It is a government “…of the people, by the people and for the people.” The Prophet Esdras put it this way “…and the voice came not from the Eagles head, but from it’s Body.” In other words, its power did not come from the leaders but from the people themselves.

In time, however, the Eagle would undergo a metamorphosis. It would change from a government of the people into a less than perfect two party political system. In Esdras’ words: “And behold, there arose a Second Head out of the Eagle against the First Head. While the Second Head reigned, the First Head slept. Yet, while the First Head reigned, the Second Head slept.” This two party system would, in time, undergo even more dramatic changes.

Esdras goes on to describe what can only be a Civil War, “And behold, the body of the Eagle was divided and strove inside itself.” During the presidency of Abraham Lincoln, certain powerful interests saw an opportunity to gain control of the money supply and a great war between the states was the result. Party politics inevitably degenerates into what is called “cronyism” where political hacks scratch one another’s backs and enrich themselves at the expense of the people. This in turn presents an opportunity for rich and powerful people to abuse the system and take control.

Those who attempted to gain such control during the War Between the States eventually succeeded. In 1913 the Federal Reserve Act was passed which officially transferred these powers to a private cartel. The word “Federal” is misleading. It is no more federal than “Federal Express.”

After the passage of the Federal Reserve Act, Congressman Charles Lindbergh Sr. (father of the famous aviator) warned the American People that it would “…establish the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President signs this Act, the invisible government by the money power… will be legitimized. The new law will create inflation whenever the trust wants inflation. From now on, depressions will be scientifically created.” The political power of those who fostered this system is without equal.

Esdras describes the same event as Congressman Lindbergh thus: “And behold, there arose another Greater Head [a new power base from] between the first two heads. The Great Head gazed upon the heads that slept [the two parties] and the [new] head reigned, yet it never slept.” This Greater Head that arose between the two lesser heads after the War Between the States was exactly what Lindbergh described after the passage of the Federal Reserve Act. The system it engendered devoured the traditional principles embodied within the Constitution and spit out increasing political corruption in return.

The early transformation of a single headed Eagle into the twin heads of a two party system removed us one step away from a “a government of the people” that directly elected a president and was beholding to know one. The parties concerned were “of the party by the party and for the party.” Nothing can illustrate this better than the Democrat’s acquittal of the Republican’s impeachment of William Jefferson Klinton.

The new federal government that was envisioned and described in the federalist papers became increasing powerful and eventually came under the control of small groups of dominant men who were able to exercise influence. After President Wilson signed the Federal Reserve Bill he said: “…we have come to be controlled by small groups of dominant men…” and that “…we dare not speak above a whisper when we speak in condemnation of [them].” By 1916, the Constitution and Bill of Rights had been usurped so many times by sophistry in the Courts that it bore little resemblance to that envisioned by the Founders.

Esdras emphasized another change in the Eagle. He said it: “spread out its two wings.” The Right Wing of Conservatism opposed the Left Wing of Liberalism. The Right Wing of Conservatism tends to adhere to the original concepts of a “Republic” while the Left Wing of Liberalism wants to rebel against it. In general, those on the left would like to see it changed from a “Nation under One G-d, [Who is] indivisible,” into a “United Nations without any G-d at all.”

The Left has more solidly allied itself with elements of the “world body politic” than the Right. The liberals of the Left Wing are willing to sacrifice traditional rights to life and property where necessary to achieve its ends. Both are guilty to some extent. Ultimately, both are responsible for expelling any mention of G-d from our educational system under the unwritten false pretense of “Separation of Church and State.” It should be noted however, that this alleged “separation” does not appear anywhere in the United States Constitution or any other founding document. It did appear, interestingly enough, in the Constitution of the former Soviet Union.

In contrast, the Constitution of the United States contains what is called a dis-establishment clause that prohibits the government from establishing a particular religion as a “State Religion” that must be adhered to by all of its citizens. In other words, Congress can pass no law that would require everyone to become, for example, a Baptist! By prohibiting the government from enacting legislation that would establish a state religion, it guarantees “Freedom of Religion” for all. This includes even “strange” religions like the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas… as long as they do not infringe on anyone else’s rights to life or property.

Since the Supreme Court outlawed the Ten Commandments from even appearing on public school property, we see violence, wickedness rebellion and anarchy almost everywhere. In consternation, the media “wants an answer,” but then proceeds to look in all the wrong places! Every major media group without exception asks why? They say: “How could the Littleton, Colorado High School massacre happen?” It happened because G-d was expelled from our Schools.

In the end, a State that denies G-d under the guise of a supposed separation of church and state can’t help but destroy itself. And the only thing that can save it is a restoration of the principles and laws set forth by G-d!

The Seven Laws of Noah

A Nation that rules out any mention of G-d becomes a Godless nation—a nation ruled by anarchy, amorality, wickedness and violence. Moral and social justice fade away under these conditions. Twice, President Ronald Reagan stated that the Judicial System of the United States was based on the Social and Moral Code of the Seven Laws of Noah. The Joint House of the One Hundred and Second Congress unanimously ratified this Statement in March 1991.

The Seven Laws of Noah are not a religion. Nor are they based on what one believes, but rather on conduct, and what one does. The Seven Noahide Laws are axiomatic laws of social conduct and moral behavior. No one can join a Noahide organization. Everyone is already a descendant of Noah.

The Seven Noahide Laws are found embedded in every culture from the Code of Hammarabi through the Laws of the Media Persians, Greek and Roman Law, British Parliamentary Law and the Judicial System of the American Republic. The Seven Noahide Laws are Universal. They are even found in the Christian New Testament. And they are vividly spelled out in the Islamic Koran.

A Bird in the Hand

The fall and the destruction of this Eagle should certainly be of interest to all of us. From Esdras description, the end of the Eagle as we know it, is imminent: “And the Eagle became exceedingly great. His Great Wings spread over the whole Earth. And none could stand against him. Then, as I beheld, the Great Eagle became divided into four parts and his body was burned with fire.”

France, Russia, Greece, all the Warsaw Pact Nations and even China have condemned the Eagle and described its actions as “ambitious” “…and the Eagle became exceedingly great!”

The term “Ugly Americans” has been used to describe rude U.S. citizens who visit foreign countries. But it is even more applicable when applied to its national character. America is often looked at as a bully. The evil predatory nature of this Great Eagle of Daniel chapter seven, Esdras II: 11-12, and Revelation chapter thirteen, justifies its destruction.

G-d Almighty, judge of all men, judges men according to their actions and their deeds. Each of us has an inclination toward both good and evil. Man is judged according to the balance.

Likewise, nations are both good and evil and they too are judged according to the balance. G-d judges countries on a national level just as he judges man on an individual level. But, national judgements are based on government policies and conduct. What will be America’s epitaph? What will happen to the Kingdom that plucked itself from the Lion’s back? And what will happen to the other animals?

Weighed in the Balance

We will continue to view Daniel’s vision through the looking glass of the Latter Days. Hence, the four beasts will be revealed in their modern incarnations. The first three, the Lion, the Bear and the Leopard were weighed in the balance: “…and their Dominions were taken away. Yet their Lives were prolonged for a season and a time” (Daniel 7:12)

The First Dominion was that of the Lion (England) or Great Britain. Its dominion was “taken away” when its power and position crumbled following WW II. Still, its existence is “prolonged for a time and a season” to fulfill its part in G-d’s final plans for Israel.

The Second Dominion to be “taken away” was that of the Leopard, or Germany. It was crushed at the end of WW II as well. Daniel, however, said that the Leopard would have four heads! The head that was crushed after WW II was only the third head. The Germans called it the Third Reich because it was a third attempt to restore the Holy Roman Empire. But the Leopard had four heads and four wings. What about the fourth head of this Nation?

In 1982, I stated in my audiotape series on Daniel, that “…there is yet another head to rise out of the leopard!” In 1990, nearly ten years later, the deadly “head wound” to the third head of this Leopard was healed. After WW II, the nation and its capitol were cut in two by allied forces to prevent it from ever rising again. The Berlin Wall dramatically demonstrated that division. But in 1991, amazingly enough, the Berlin Wall “fell” and a once divided nation became whole. A unified Germany was resurrected.

The third dominion to be “taken away” was the Bear or USSR. It was taken away with the disintegration of the Soviet Empire in 1991. Today the USSR no longer exists yet its life like that of the Lion and the Leopard, has been “prolonged for a time and a season” to fulfill its part in the events of the Last Days. The dominion of the USSR submerged in sequence with the emergence and the healing of the “Deadly Wound” to the Leopard’s third head that had been inflicted in 1945. Now the “Fourth Head” of the German Leopard has risen.

The Leopard

The First Reich had its beginnings with Charles Martel and his grandson Charlemagne when they stopped the Islamic Conquest of Europe. This was the beginning of a new Holy Roman Empire. They did not actually refer to it as the First Reich. It was those who tried to re-establish it, later on, that used such terms.

This First Reich or “First Head of the Leopard” was the Dynasty of the Habsburgs (it can also be spelled Hapsburg). The Dynasty was also known as the “House of Austria” even though the Habsburgs were of German decent. The proponents of this First Reich regarded it as a re-establishment of the Holy Roman Empire. Its size and scope was the greatest of all the sovereign dynasties of Europe at that time. It began in 1020 and did not end until 1871.

The Second Reich or the “Second Head of the Leopard” was led by the Prussian Hohenzollerns (1871-1918 WW I).

The Third Reich or “Third Head of the Leopard” took the form of Nazi Germany (1933-45).

Just as the leopard signified ancient Greece’s swiftness in battle, the Nazi blitzkrieg (or lightning war) swept across Europe. The Nazi Panzer divisions swiftly devoured everything in their path. Equally chilling is the reminder that the murderous Nazi SS insignia was a Death’s Head that resembled the face of a leopard.

The Fourth Head of this empire is now alive and active in its persecution of Israel. The name of the Main Battle Tank that Germany sells to the Arabs is called “the Leopard”.

This Fourth Beast of Daniel emerges in the Last Days in a consortium with and melting into one with the Apocalyptic Beast of Revelation chapter 13:1-10… “And I John stood on the sand of the sea, [Israel] and behold a Beast rose out of the sea [the Gentile Nations] having seven heads and ten horns. And upon the horns, ten crowns. And on the crowns were the names of blasphemy. And the Beast I saw was like unto a Leopard, [Germany]. His mouth was the mouth of a Lion [England]; His feet were the feet of a Bear; [Russia] and the Dragon [China] gave him his power and seat of great authority…

The Rat

Klinton is the spokesperson for this amalgamation of nations. It is Bill Klinton who is promoting the will of this consortium, both in Kosovo and the Middle East. If Klinton funded his election with money received from China, then quite literally, the Dragon gave him his power and seat of great authority. Hard to believe?

The Year of the Rat written by two veteran congressional staffers, Ed Timberlake and Bill Triplett reveals how the 1992 and 1996 Klinton campaigns received generous “contributions” from individuals and groups associated with Chinese military and intelligence agencies. They allege that Chinese agents became the number one donors to the Klinton campaign in 1992. And in Klinton’s re-election bid in 1996, he received substantial donations from an American defense contractor who was working with a major missile company in China. It is, of course, still a Communist country. It is neither Christian nor Moslem. They have armed Iran with their long-range Cocoon missile. Both Iraq and Iran are declared enemies of the US and NATO. Not withstanding, they are committed to the destruction of Israel.

China builds very sophisticated long-range missiles that were once plagued by faulty, antiquated guidance systems. Now, for some reason that problem has been corrected. Could aid have come in the form of stolen American technology? An August 3rd Washington Post story reported that China had test fired what Western military analysts believe was a three-stage DF-31. The missile is fired from a mobile launcher and has a range of around 5,000 miles. It also has nuclear capability. The same article quoted Richard Fisher, an expert on Chinese security, “American technology has made the difference in the success of this missile...the American taxpayer deserves royalties...” Military experts further speculated that the system could be used against American military targets.

The Eagle Has Landed

The Eagle indeed spread its wings over the whole earth. The manner in which it dealt with the Native American Indians was just the beginning. The government that was originally established by the people and for the people has often ignored the wishes of the people. We have witnessed our government’s meddling in the affairs of other countries. Cuba is a classic example.

Earl Smith, the former US Ambassador to Cuba said “…Castro could not have seized power in Cuba without the aid of the United States… I had first hand knowledge of the facts which brought about the rise of Fidel Castro… The State Department consistently intervened—positively, negatively and by innuendo—to bring about the downfall of President Fulgencio Batista, thereby making it possible for Fidel Castro to take over the government of Cuba.”

The US State Department supported and armed Castro and helped him to overthrow Batista in 1959. Batista was not a Communist as evidenced by the standard of living in Cuba. Castro on the other hand was an avowed Communist. Cuba is a prime example of one such affair that backfired. The result was the first Communist country in the Western Hemisphere.

It was only after Russia placed missiles ninety miles off the US coast in 1961, that Cuba became a real issue of interest to the US. That dangerous situation was the most vicious confrontation between the Bear and the Eagle. But it was the Eagles fault. It was our government’s hunger for power that caused them to interfere in Cuba’s internal affairs in 1959. Go to your public library and you can find any number of books, published by former Intelligence operatives who expose U.S. attempts to destabilize foreign regimes all over the world.
